Michael Little
Head PGA Golf Professional
Michael Little was born and raised in North Wales, Pennsylvania. Finding a love for golf in his early 20's, Michael decided to pursue a career in golf by attending the Golf Academy of America and shortly after, turned professional golfer in 2009.
Michael joined the Lookaway team in 2014 and has been a golf instructor since 2009. Before coming to Lookaway, Michael was the First Assistant Professional at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pennsylvania from 2010-2014 and the First Assistant Golf Professional at Island Green Country Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2009-2010. He was also the Golf Instructor at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he introduced over 500 college students to the game of golf.
Michael is an active member of the Philadelphia Section PGA and is one of the top players in the section. He is serving on the Philadelphia PGA Player Development Committee to share his passion for golf. Some of his tournament highlights include:
- In the Top 5 of the Player of the Year Points List from 2017 to Present
- 2016 & 2020 Philadelphia PGA, Player of the Year -2013 & 2019 Philadelphia PGA, PAO Player of the Year
- 15 first place wins in Philadelphia PGA events
- 120 Top 10 finishes in Philadelphia PGA events
- Won the Philadelphia Open
- Top 15 in the Pennsylvania Open
- Qualified for 7 different National Tournament events
In addition to representing Lookaway in PGA and GAP golf tournaments, Michael has also been featured on Inside Golf and frequently volunteers and participates in golf charity events. One of Michael’s favorite charities is PGA Reach, which provides golf programs to support junior golf, military veterans, and diversity inclusion in and around the Philadelphia Section PGA — all initiatives that are important to Michael and his family.
Michael currently resides in North Wales with his wife, Star, two girls, Estelle and Louella and the newest addition to the family, baby Michael.
